Do you understand “thee” and “thou”? The workshop “Shakespearean Language” is designed for pupils with upper-intermediate to advanced English language skills. We want pupils to get a little taste of how Shakespeare wrote and especially why he chose each specific word. Pupils will experience the rhythm, rhymes, tongue twisters, and double meanings (double entendre), of Shakespearean language in addition to new and old words of Shakespeare. Together we will use language to create new images in different ways just like Shakespeare did. Each participant will take an active part throughout the entire workshop. Students will be given the tools they need to understand Shakespearean language better.
